About Shepard Painting, LLC
10 Years of Painting Portland
Shepard Painting has been in operation for more than 10 years servicing the Great NW.
J.R. Shepard
The owner, Mr. Shepard, decided long ago that he wanted to create a home services company that was run like a professional business. To achieve that end, Shepard Painting has continued its education and system development in painting technology and application, business strategy, employee and customer relations.
Memberships in Trade Groups
A key part of this journey is Shepard Painting’s active membership in the Painting & Decorating Contractors of America, a trade group that has been the Voice, the Educator, the Community Builder, and the Standard Bearer of the Painting Industry since 1884. Mr. Shepard is currently serving as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Portland Oregon Chapter.
Strategic Partnerships
Shepard Painting has developed strategic relationships with many reputable vendors and colleagues so as to strengthen our position in the market place, and be better equipped to competently serve all your needs. Over the years, we have cultivated relationships with only the most trusted paint companies who are willing to contribute to consistent customer support for product questions and issues. The paint companies know us as a company you can trust. Ask them!
Shepard Painting started out small –one man. Since then, we have grown to employ approximately 60 men and women yearly, which includes crews and management, as well as three other divisions: stonework and masonry, carpentry, and custom overhead doors.
Employees
At Shepard Painting, we have a strict policy of hiring only the best. We do a preliminary background check and require legal identification from everyone. All employees sign and are required to adhere to an “Employee Mission Statement”. We take the responsibility serious that you trust us in and around your home.
The Environment
Shepard Painting actively uses products that are environmentally safe for the land and air, as well as your family. We use the proper and safe work protocols when it comes to dealing with lead based paint.
Ask us about the products that are low in VOC (volatile organic products) and caustic smells.
